PROTEST of Parliment.

Meeting in  TRAFALGAR SQUARE, LONDON, at 12-30 PM, on the 30th June.

There is to be a peaceful demonstration taking place in Westminster.

The plan is to protest at the Department Of Health, the House of Commons and Downing Street.
Ending in a loby of Parliment where you will be able to request a meeting with your own MP over this issue.

Ideas for getting this protest to the media attention are invited.

We are so close to winning this issue that everyone who is able should make the effort to be there.

Any ideas must within the law.

One idea that has been put forward is to scatter red and yellow flower petals on the grass opposite Parliament. (not Poppies)

It would take quite a lot of these so we must all do our bit to provide the petals if this is to work.

This is the sort of thing to get the attention of the media and to make this work we must cover this area.
Times and meeting places will be anounced later.

FIGHTIN FOR THE RIGHTS OF HAEMOPHILIACS INFECTED

DYING FROM NHS TREATMENT

Welcome to our web site!

The Manor House Group is a group haemophiliacs, Families, and friends, who have become infected by Hepatitis C and affected by the devastating burdens this virus has on an entire family as a result of being given infected and contaminated treatment for our haemophilia via the British NHS.

For over 18 years The Manor House Group have campaigned for a U.K government to recognise that we have a right to life and be given that which was taken away from us as a direct result of a Government department that put profit before life.

While members of our government got fat playing the expenses game, the haemophilia community of the U.K was being devastated by death and illness as a result of NHS treatment.

Over 2000 victims of infection have gone to their graves without the answers, and financial help they fought so hard for.

The British Government is the only government to have turned it’s back on these people and left then to suffer .

Many of the widows of those that are no longer with us continue to experience the financial hardships of losing their partners and loved ones, some families have gone through the horrific experience of watching their children pass away long before them.

This should never happen .

While these atrocities continue, this government look on and do nothing.

As long as the haemophilia community can draw a breath the fight will continue, only the government can end this continued battle for the right to live what is left of our lives with a little dignity and some financial recompense for what a British Government did to us.

Running a campaign is a significant challenge. It is difficult to get a message out to as many people as possible in a short time. This web site is a great way to quickly introduce ourselves and educate visitors on the key issues of the campaign.

We hope you'll find the information you need

The Manor House Groups latest quest is to attempt to have a supporter of this issue in every MP's constancy in the country.

All you have to do is

(One) Find who your MP is.
(Two) Write to him/her letting him/her know you support this issue.
(Three) Let a member of the Manor House Group know you support us, together with the name of your MP.

Let us have a way of contacting you, E-Mail is good.

Yes that is all you have to do.

We will be in touch

Thanks. From all the members.

Letter to Andrew Lansley Health Minister, question as to when the
Skipton Fund would be reviewd: Re promis made by the Labour
Government.

Andrew Lansley did not bother to reply but got a sivil servant to answer
on his behal.
NO CHAINGE THER THEN.

His reply.

Dear Mr Kenwright,

Thank you for your email of 17 May to Andrew Lansley about a review of the Skipton Fund.  I have been asked to reply.

I am sure you will understand that there are a large number of issues that the new Government will wish to tackle.  The NHS will be backed with real resources, but priorities will be assessed carefully.  Ministers are currently reviewing the policy regarding the review of the Skipton Fund that was announced previously, but I am afraid that the Department is not in a position to provide a definite answer at the moment.
  Thank you for writing.

Yours sincerely,
